Film It!

A Citywide Video Challenge

Challenge Registration Form (will open in new tab)

Film It! is open to all D65 students and Evanston residents starting 5th – 8th Grades in the Fall 2026.

The rules are simple – create a short video (we recommend using iMovie or CapCut) that is 2 – 3 minutes long. Your video must include at least FIVE filmmaking elements.

Make your film something fun, interesting, about you, or whatever! Interview your grandparent, make a stop-motion video with objects, create a TikTok style dance, or a how-to tutorial on something you want to show others. It’s up to you!
